Successful schools have an encouraging PTA that is supported by parents and teachers. We work together to provide opportunities for the students to experience a variety of programs and events throughout the year. MacArthur School has this. Some examples of these programs and events are: Reflections, hot lunch, movie night, fun fair, color run, cultural arts, etc. Why do I bring this up now? As we plan for the upcoming school year, we are looking for parents who can continue to push PTA forward. Many parents ask how they can help support the school. I tell them they can start by joining the PTA. Every staff member at MacArthur is a member. Our teachers believe in the PTA, and I think that you should give membership and service a chance. Each and every student at MacArthur benefits from the hard work and dedication of the parents who organize top quality experiences that everybody can enjoy. Thank you to every member of the PTA.
