Dear MacArthur Community,

Happy Friday MacArthur! It is hard to believe we will begin the last week of April next week. With the announcement from Governor Pritzker that we will not end the school year together, we know you have many questions regarding the end of year events and logistics that are a part of how we wrap up every school year. While I do not have a detailed plan to share with you at this time, I want to reassure you that we are working on all of these logistics while prioritizing the safety of our students, staff and families and more communication will be forthcoming.

We miss our students more than words can say, but we are excited to share a few virtual events that will help to keep us connected as a community. Please read on for some fun and exciting virtual events starting soon!

Have a great weekend MacArthur!

For the remainder of the school year, Mondays will be planning days for our staff and there will be no V-Learning for students!

There will be an additional teacher planning day during the month for each grade level.  This means only one particular grade level at a time will have the day off.  Your child’s teacher will communicate this date with your child and it is listed below for reference.

3rd Grade – Tuesday, April 28

4th Grade – Wednesday, April 29
