Dear MacArthur Community,
With our students heading out for Thanksgiving break today, I want to extend my gratitude to the staff, students, and community of MacArthur. This is truly a special place to work and learn each day. We are fortunate to have a supportive community of parents who partner with us in the education of our students.
During the month of December we are focusing on the happiness tactic of The Doubler. Click here to access our Happiness Newsletter and read more about how this simply habit can help boost your levels of positivity!
Winter MAP testing will begin on December 2. Please be sure that your child is well rested and has eaten breakfast on their testing date. Students will take the MAP assessment in Reading and in Math. This assessment gives us valuable information that helps us best meet the needs of our students.
6th Grade Parents:
We are excited for 6th grade parent night at Eisenhower on December 11. This informational night is a great opportunity to find out some useful tips for a smooth transition into Eisenhower. This event will take place from 6 pm – 7 pm. Our partnership is important for the success of your child. We look forward to meeting you and answering any questions you may have about Eisenhower and about the transition to junior high.
